A major part of the education process for our students is their spiritual formation.  We start off the day every morning gathered in prayer and infuse prayer and devotion into our students lives.  We have several service projects planned every year to teach our students Jesus' greatest commandment.  We have a great relationship with the Extended Care wing at the hospital, singing, sending cards and flowers, etc.  We have had two projects to raise money to donate to Community services, and are getting ready to make donations to New Beginnings Pregnancy Center.
We also have a Christian Character Champ every month, where we allow staff and students to vote and choose a student who stands out shining God's light to those around them.

August – Joyfulness – Ephesians 5:19-20

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.  Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

September – Self-Control – Galations 5:24-25 ICB

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified their own sinful selves.  They have given up their old selfish feelings and the evil things they wanted to do.

October – Patience – Ecclesiastes 7:8 ICB

It is better to finish something than to start it.  It is better to be patient than to be proud.

November – Humbleness – I Peter 5:5b-6 ICB

All of you should be very humble with each other.  God is against the proud, but he gives grace to the humble.

December – Generosity – II Corinthians 9:6

Remember this:  Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

January – Responsibility – Romans 14:12

So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.

February – Compassion – I Peter 3:8

Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another;  be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.

March – Honesty – II Corinthians 8:21 KJV

Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

April – Forgiveness  - Colossians 3:13

Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.  Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

May – Diligence – Colossians 3:23

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.
