ACADEMICS

Philosophy of Education:  We approach education from the biblical perspective, which sharpens the mind and shapes the character.  Our students attend weekly chapel, participate in Christian service projects, pray throughout the school day, and study the Bible as part of the course credit.  By emphasizing to our students that they are all God's children and equal in His eyes, we help instill the essential value of respect for self and others.

Clark County Christian School teaches with Christ centered curriculum....ABEKA and ACSI.

Clark County Christian School uses the A BEKA curriculum for reading, language, writing and phonics.  The ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) spelling and math curriculum is used.  In science and history, either A BEKA or ACSI is used, depending on the grade level.

Please click on the links below for the scope and sequence for each.

Clark County Christian School students are required to take the Stanford Achievement Test each spring.  Take a look at CCCS's past achievement test results.  The numbers represent what year the grade level is and the month during that grade level (i.e. 1.9 is 1st Grade, ninth month).  The Complete Battery is an average of all the tests that a student took.  The average at the bottom of each list is the average of all students who took the test all over the world.
