SNOW DAYS
If CCCS is closed, we will post it on the local TV stations. We determine if we are closed by if the public schools are closed. If you see Clark Co. closed you know that we will also be closed. Either school might be listed on the TV stations, but if the elementary is closed, then the preschool will also be closed. The daycare will be open at 6:30 AM. However, if the weather is particularly bad, then the daycare may go on a one or two hour delay. In extreme cases, the day care may be closed.
AFTERCARE
We have aftercare before and after school from 6:30 AM-6 PM for our preschool and elementary program. This program is less structured than preschool and the school day. There is a schedule the teachers follow, and students are given more creative, self-directed play choices.
We also have summer care, Summer Shades, during the summer break. It is some structured fun, still a learning environment, but a lot more fun time and hands on activities.
