Upcoming school year:
We will offer full day preschool for the 2011 - 2012 school year, with classes going from 8 AM to 2:55 in the afternoon. N2, N3, and K4 classes will have a 2 day, 3 day, or 5 day class. We will also offer a half day K4 class to transition students into K4. All 2 day classes will be on Tuesday/Thursdays, and all 3 day classes will be offered on Monday/Wednesday/Fridays.
Our Kindergarten program is a full day, and will move next year back into our preschool building. We will open up to Middles School next year as well, to offer a Christian alternative to Magnet and Soar programs. Each student will be evaluated for placement, and a waiting list will be taken for eighth grade.
Who should apply?
People who choose Clark County Christian School enroll for a variety of reasons. Some prefer smaller class sizes and lower student to teacher ratios. Others want the strong relationships that we have with all of our families. Still others want an accredited Christian school with high standards of achievement where ALL teachers are highly qualified to teach in their specific area. We are the only accredited Christian school in Clark Co. The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) is the largest organziation of Christian Schools throughout the world, and the state of Kentucky. Whatever the reason, we're sure you'll be very pleased with what you find at CCCS.
How to apply?
First, we recommend that you visit us and tour our facility. Office hours are 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Summer hours flunctuate, please call ahead or stop in our preschool building, which is open until 6 PM. Evening and weekend appointments are scheduled upon request.
There are admissions procedures that must be followed for final admission is given. A New Student Application along with fee, School Report on Applicant (1st and up), Pastor's Recommendation (Kindergarten and up), School History/Family Characteristics and a copy of the child's most recent report card. Then an appointment with the principal/Administrator for an interview, during which time, testing will be conducted.
